JAMIE WHITMARSH

HEAD COACH

MY OBJECTIVE

To genuinely make a difference in football – I have a particular passion for youth development. I want to help young players realise their full potential by developing both the physical and mental aspects of their game.

Having recently being trained and completed my NZFA / OFC A License with a final assessment to be sent in 2019, along with my extensive technical and tactical coaching skills this provides me with the tools to achieve this. I always foster a positive team spirit and a winning mentality. I command respect from all ages and am able to communicate at all levels. My international experience has allowed me to develop a coaching plan that is based on individual player development to the highest level.

Recent successes include working extensively with players who have become International players for both the NZ U17’s and the full Samoa team. Also coaching the Men’s Premier team to their first championship in the club’s history.

As part of my continued professional development I have recently completed the League Managers Association – ‘Creating a Culture of Excellence’ course and have recently become a coach educator for New Zealand Football.
